Another Affiliate Training Site
John Reese is soon to lanuch his affiliate training site - Opportunity.com.
This seems to contradict recent opinions expressed by several experienced IMer’s. I’ve seen several forum and blog posts which highlight the diminishing returns from affiliate marketing. They say that this form of marketing is becoming increasingly competitive - due to the next generation of super affiliates being coached through a number of excellent affiliate training sites and high-priced courses available.
These experienced IMers advise that to counter the competitiveness of affiliate marketing, Internet Marketers need to seriously start considering product development - as owning your own product is far more secure than merely earning a sales commission for promoting somebody else’s product.
The reality is that you should ideally be skilled at both to earn the most from Internet Marketing.
In fact, the smart route to owning your own product is to first enter a market as an affiliate - as you can then quickly test the viability of a particular market segment - without having to waste any time or investment in developing your own product. And if you see that you are able to earn consistent affiliate revenues in a particular niche - then you switch your affiliate traffic to a product that you have had developed.
John appears to be following the familar Product Launch approach by releasing a video with some great content.
